TEILOR is looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring and performance-driven leader to develop further the finance function and capabilities. Reporting to the CEO, as CFO you'll be contributing to TEILOR’s success by developing a world class finance organization and partnering with the Executive Leadership Team and external partners at strategic, management and operational level.
This seasoned strategist not only understands international accounting, FP&A, tax and treasury practices and trends, but has proven experience in adapting and transforming finance teams, processes and policies in line with fiscal, legal and business growth requirements. As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, he or she will be comfortable in a leadership role that demands strong business partnering and drive towards a financially intelligent organization.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the company's financial strategy;
- Managing budgets, cash flows, and financial reporting;
- Overseeing the finance and accounting teams;
- Ensuring tax and regulatory compliance;
- Optimizing costs and identifying growth opportunities;
- Collaborating closely with the CEO and executive leadership team;
- Oversees the indirect procurement and legal teams;
- Provides leadership directions and management to the teams ensuring an engaging work environment and providing guidance and opportunities to develop the team;
- Oversees and coordinates external and internal financial and/or tax audits developing a strong professional relationship with the auditors and/or other relevant authorities;
- Interacts and develops strong business relationships with banks and other potential financiers of the organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- License and/or Master’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management role;
- Experience in engaging with staff at all levels of the organization and external partners;
- Leadership skills with personal integrity and sound judgement;
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills;
- Self-learner, open to new challenges;
- Strong organizational and planning skills;
- Experience in developing management information and reporting systems including business intelligence;
- Strong business and operational understanding (business oriented);
- Strong business modelling and forecasting skills, as well as analytical skills;
- Working knowledge of raising capital and optimizing the financing mix;
- MBA or other professional specialization and/or professional certifications in the field of economics and finance is an advantage (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, etc.);
- International experience and exposure to multiple cultures is an advantage.
Requirements:
Willingness to Travel:
If based in Bucharest: Available for 3 trips per week during the first 6 months to Pitesti HQ;
If based in Pitesti: Available for 1-2 trips per week to Bucharest;
English – Advanced level (written and spoken, used in an international business environment);
Excel – Advanced level (financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, process optimization).
